Acadian Plant Health™ attending the XXII Acorbat Congress

March 19, 2018. Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. Acadian Plant Health™ (APH™) will be attending the XXII Acorbat International Congress in Miami, United States. Acorbat International is the most important congress for the exchange of science and technology on bananas in the world. This event brings together banana growers, universities, researchers and commercial companies, as well as press and media. Boasting 1,200 ft2 of exhibition space, the event attracts 1,200 visitors from over 40 countries.

One of the speakers is Dr. Rafael Arango, Professor of Biosciences at National University of Colombia, and we are excited about his sharing the highlights of Acadian Plant Health™ research program on bananas. On May 2, Dr. Arango will present a talk titled: “Analysis of expression levels of genes associated with plant defense in banana plants treated with several concentrations of commercial extract of Ascophyllum nodosum”.

We encourage growers, potential partners and distributors to meet us at the XXII Acorbat Congress, which runs from May 2 to 4, 2018, at the Miami Airport & Convention Center, to learn more about our products and our newest research projects.
