Wine Grape Field Trial
WINE GRAPE FIELD TRIAL ‘PINOT NOIR’

Quality wine starts in the vineyard with quality crops. Acadian Plant Health™ agricultural products improve color and size uniformity, and they increase bunch length. In a wine grape trial conducted on Pinot noir grapes, grapes treated with an Acadian Plant Health™ product were more uniform in both size and color. Increased uniformity means a shorter harvest period and less culls which can reduce grower expenses.
Apple Field Trial

In this trial, applications of an Acadian Plant Health™ agricultural product improved fruit color as treated trees produced more fruit in the most desirable color category. In this case, ‘redder’ apples demanded a higher price and the Acadian treatment led to a better return for the grower.

Grape Tomato Greenhouse Trial
GRAPE TOMATO GREENHOUSE TRIAL ‘AMSTERDAM’

In this greenhouse trial, tomatoes that had been treated with an Acadian Plant Health™ agricultural product showed an increase in fruit wall thickness of 13.4% over the control. Increased wall thickness indicates a potential for longer shelf life. The harvest for this trial began 75 days after planting and fruit were collected every three to six days. The photo shows the total fruit collected for each treatment on the day of the first harvest. At this time, plants treated with an Acadian crop care product had riper tomatoes that were ready to be picked.
Olive Field Trial
OLIVE FIELD TRIAL ‘PICHOLINE’
MEKNÈS, MOROCCO
In a trial conducted on olives, applications of an Acadian Plant Health™ agricultural product increased fruit weight by 26%. In the same trial, treated trees went on to yield 15% more oil per 100 kilograms of olives and oil acidity was reduced by 0.2 percentage points. The decrease in oil acidity was significant as it allowed the oil to be classified as the highest quality oil (extra virgin olive oil). Extra virgin olive oils must have an acidity of less than 1%, and with an average oil acidity of 0.9%, oil from treated trees met this requirement.
