IMPROVED EARLY ESTABLISMENT
COFFEE FIELD TRIAL ‘ACAIA 474/19-10’

In this field trial, we compared 10 young coffee plants from Control plots (standard crop program) to 10 from plots treated with an APH™ seaweed extract. Note the visibly enhanced root growth in the treated plants.
In the same trial, we noted that coffee plants treated with APH™ seaweed extract had more branches, were taller, and their stalks were thicker compared to the Control plants. This improved development indicates better establishment.
IMPROVED QUALITY
COFFEE TRIAL ‘TOPÁZIO’

Applying APH™ seaweed extract generated an increase in premium-quality grains by 12 percentage points. One of the contributing factors to such improvement in yield quality is that plants treated with APH™ seaweed extract have less berries that fall on the ground (swept grain) and consequently more berries that held on to the branches and develop into premium quality berries.

This trial in the same region showed the benefit from APH™ seaweed extract treatments are not limited to young coffee plants. Mature, producing coffee plants treated with APH™ seaweed extract have shown significant yield increase. The best result, a 54.4% increase, was achieved when the coffee plants received both foliar and soil applications.
