[Speaker: Dr. Holly Little]

So, we know that Acadian Plant Health seaweed extracts and biostimulants can be used in a lot of different ways to help improve soil health and microbial diversity. So, what we’ve seen with the use of our products, particularly in continual soil applied programs, is that we see increased soil microbial activity and increased soil microbe diversity. So that gives a healthy broader population of soil microbes; and we know that that leads to healthy soils and that healthy soil can include improved soil organic matter, increase microbial secretions which can help improve soil aggregation. Which in turn can increase water holding capacity of the soil. We know that when there’s a healthier soil, it also leads to healthier plants. They’re better able to uptake nutrients and resist both abiotic and biotic stresses, and overall helps make that crop more productive.
